Recognition principles
- Veteran plaques and donor recognition will remain visually and administratively separate.
- A donation cannot purchase veteran eligibility, preferred placement, or larger veteran-plaque lettering.
- Only received contributions—not verbal promises or unpaid pledges—will qualify for recognition.
- Donors may choose to remain anonymous.
- Permanent recognition must remain dignified and subordinate to the veterans’ names and stories.
- The memorial will retain the name Lakeside Veterans Wall of Honor.
